His projects, such as the book “How Color Created the World” and the tarot deck “Journey of the Bearded Tarot,” exemplify his organic approach to storytelling. In theater, Doug lets costumes, props, and improvisation shape his performances, crafting dreamlike, psychologically charged narratives. His work balances logic with intuition, inviting viewers into worlds that are both surprising and deeply engaging.

There is one thing we know at Art2Life that makes learning and making art easier. Community.
This year, you no longer have to make your art alone. Instead, you can make art alongside your friends in the virtual CVP BLOOMING Sessions. These are held on Fridays during key weeks of CVP, with a flexible time window to join in from wherever you are.
In these co-art making sessions, you can connect, share, and stay inspired and motivated by the community. Now, no matter where you are in the world or in what time zone, you can join the CVP BLOOMING Sessions. Stay for an hour or 5 hours! The studio is waiting, and it will be full of inspired and motivated artists worldwide.
BONUS: Our first BLOOMING Session will happen during the first two weeks of CVP and will be exclusively for Alumni ONLY!
Each year, we improve, re-edit, and reshoot many of the 12 Weeks of Video Lessons to make them clearer, more concise, and more focused. This year is no different– your learning will be easier and faster.
Also, we will have 2 brand new art series filmed in real-time. These will provide you with the latest thinking, tips, and techniques for creating your own process.

CVP is the most concentrated art/life instructional program available online or offline in the world. Over the past 10 years of running CVP, we have learned that you don’t need MORE information but more TIME to assimilate the principles and perfect the techniques already provided in CVP.
So this year, we are adding a 2nd rest week. During the two rest weeks, the program will pause so that everyone can take a breath and spend more time calmly looking back over what might need to be relearned, clarified, or experimented on without concern for keeping up.
Enroll in CVP before Monday, February 10th at 11:59 PM PT and you will be invited to join Nicholas for the Alumni ONLY Intentions Call happening February 25th at 12 PM PST.

We have made some incredible upgrades to CVP this year! Here’s what you can expect:
You will experience a level of coaches and teachers way beyond any prior years of CVP. We have 19 teachers on our CVP Team for 2025. They are comprised of 9 world class art coaches (all graduates of CVP), outside human development coaches, and highly successful impact-driven creators and visionaries. Our dream team of teachers will be teaching our curriculum of discernment, the power of play, and abstract thinking as it pertains to all kinds of art from abstract to representational or anywhere in between. As you know, CVP is helpful for all levels of creatives, but especially for Alums, who are returning. Regardless of where you are, or planning to go, we have you covered this year in CVP 2025.
This year CVP will be led by the following:
Teachers:
Coming to CVP for the first time, whether as a new artist or an established one, can feel like drinking from a fire hose. But CVP meets you where you are and so coming to it for a second time is an entirely different experience. The principals are the same, and the amount of information is the same – but YOU are different. You’re not in the same place in your art (or possibly your life) as you were when you took CVP the first time. This time around, CVP feels less like a fire hose and more like a fountain to refresh yourself under or a warm bath to bathe in. Comfortable, familiar, and nourishing. And knowing what’s ahead gives you the opportunity to set an intention about what to focus on. This year it may be a deep dive into value and design, next year it may be color you wish to explore more fully. You have the opportunity to make the most of this extraordinary program from a more knowledgeable and relaxed perspective. Like many returning alumni, you can look forward to lots of ah-ah moments as concepts that may not have been so relevant or obvious to you a year before becoming the catalysts that help propel you and your art to the next level.
