KATE RHODES creates “Soulscapes” that balance representation and abstraction, guided by play, memory, and feeling. Her recent shift toward painting from the heart has opened a more fluid, expressive language in her work. She understands the courage it takes to paint what wants to emerge from within.
INSA HOFFMANÂ works in the tension between structure and spontaneity, where grids meet gestural marks. Her process-oriented approach embraces chance as an integral part of painting. She brings deep understanding of how to trust the dialogue between you and your work.
NADINE JOHNSONÂ is a Calgary-based abstract painter whose own breakthrough came through CVP in 2020, where design, value, and visual language finally clicked into place. Now gallery-represented and passionate about teaching, she understands exactly what it feels like to search for your voice and then find it.
In addition to the artists above, you’ll also be supported by The Art2Life Community, artists from all over the world who help facilitate this workshop. They bring their unique perspectives to your journey. Together, this global creative community creates a supportive, insightful experience that honors where you are while helping you see where you’re going.

My name is Nicholas Wilton, and I founded Art2Life from a simple truth I’ve witnessed for over 25 years.
Every artist has a unique voice waiting to be discovered.
The challenge isn’t talent or technique. The challenge is seeing clearly what’s already within you.
I’ve worked alongside thousands of artists who believed they needed more training, more experience, more time before they could create meaningful art. What they actually needed was permission to trust themselves and a framework for understanding their own artistic instincts.
That’s what this workshop provides.
Mindset, Design, Value, and Color aren’t abstract principles to master. They’re tools for amplifying what already calls to you. When you learn to use them as a language for your own expression, everything changes.
The art only you can make isn’t hiding. It’s waiting to be seen.

Frequently Asked Questions
This workshop is designed for artists at every level. Whether you’re just beginning to explore your creative voice or you’ve been making art for years, the self-discovery process meets you exactly where you are. Nicholas’s teaching style makes complex concepts accessible while honoring the depth of your creative journey.
You’ll want basic materials to experiment with as Nicholas guides you through Mindset, Design, Value, and Color explorations. But this isn’t about having professional supplies. Use whatever you already have or whatever calls to you. The focus is on discovery, not perfection.
Each morning video is a brief 5-10 minute introduction to the day’s theme. The main teaching happens during the live sessions at noon PST, where Nicholas guides you through the day’s exploration. These sessions are where the transformation occurs, though replays are always available if you can’t attend live. Plan for about an hour each day to get the most from this workshop.
Only if you want to. Sharing in the Facebook community is completely optional. Many artists prefer to explore privately, and that’s perfectly fine. This is about your journey of self-discovery, not performance.
As soon as you register, you’ll receive a Welcome Email with instructions for requesting access to the private Facebook community. Starting February 26th, we’ll begin accepting members into the community, and you’ll get access to the Workshop Online Event Space and the Workshop Welcome Video. This gives you time to introduce yourself and connect with fellow workshop attendees before the workshop officially begins. The first daily workshop video will arrive in your inbox on March 2nd, beginning our five-day journey together. All videos and live session replays remain accessible through March 12th at 11:59 PM PT.
Every live session is recorded and available on the Workshop Online Event Space. While attending live offers the benefit of real-time interaction with Nicholas and the community, you’ll still receive the complete teaching through the replays. Many participants watch the replays at their own pace and still experience profound breakthroughs.
