The Art of Business Immersion is different from every art business event you’ve considered, because it starts where the real problem lives.
When your creative frequency is fully alive, everything downstream changes. You post on social media from a place of genuine expression rather than performance. You price from a place of knowing what your work is worth. You reach people not by chasing algorithms, but by becoming so distinctly yourself that the right people can’t look away.
You became an artist to express something real, and to have that expression connect, resonate, and sell.
But most artists were never taught how. Until now.
Whether you’re just starting to sell or ready to scale, this immersive 2.5-day experience will give you the clarity, confidence, and strategy to turn your art into a thriving business.
“Before working with Nicholas, I had about $3-4k in painting sales a year. That was without a gallery rep. In 2024 I had $15,228. That’s my 50% commission, making total retail $30,456!! So total my retail sales went from $3-4k a year to over $30k.” – Lori C.
“I’ve already changed my Instagram bio and rewrote my artist statement. My art is shifting and I sold a piece this week to an ideal client! I feel excited and on fire.” – Laurie K., Past Immersion Attendee
“Since working with Nicholas Wilton, I found my studio, have had 3 solo shows, been in art fairs, open studios, and sold a lot of work. I have learned so much Art2Life and it’s a wonderful community to share your work and get feedback.” – Tracey L.
“Within a few months after working with Nick I won three honorable mentions, one first place, sold 4 paintings, got published in two magazines and love the art I make.” – Carol C.
“Our surprise guest made me drop the fears of social media and telling my story. Nick is the perfect example and inspiration for what she was teaching.”
–Zena K., Past Immersion Attendee
“Since my daughter and I started working with Nick, it has profoundly changed our art for the better and also our lives in so many ways – we’ve sold our work, been accepted in juried exhibitions, and in galleries. It’s given us a toolbox to make great art more like us. My daughter’s art practice is thriving and her work is hanging and selling on the famous walls of the Royal Academy in London. My work has been transformed and taken off beyond my wildest dreams – having work sell in a beautiful gallery is a gift for me.”
– Susan M.
“Take the time to know who you are, what you want, and then shout it from the rooftops. Social media and my website are the vehicles to share my gift. My biggest takeaway? I am possible. I am enough. I am deserving.“
– Precious B., Past Immersion Attendee
“I can do both, create art and build the business. It’s not either one or the other. The biggest takeaways were the confidence that I can do this and the how I can do this.”
– Jen R., Past Immersion Attendee
I am an artist and founder of Art2Life. I believe that all artists can make great art and build a real business around it.
I discovered how to truly thrive as an artist and business owner when I started helping others quickly overcome what took me decades to learn on my own.
I will gently show you the way, so that you can make amazing art, sell it with confidence, and build the kind of art career you were always meant to have.
At Art2Life, we don’t teach formulas. We guide you back to the truth of your creative expression, and help you build a business around that.
Join Nicholas Wilton October 13-15, 2026 in Mill Valley, CA, or from anywhere in the world! Either way, your art business will never be the same.
This year’s event will take place at the beautiful Acqua Hotel, a waterfront oasis in Mill Valley, CA, with one afternoon session happening just minutes down the road at Nicholas’s studio in the ICB Building in Sausalito.
The Acqua is the kind of place that makes it easy to slow down, focus, and be fully present for the two and a half days you’re here to invest in your art business.
And if you’d like to stay on-site for the Immersion, attendees get 10% off their stay at the Acqua Hotel. Information on how to redeem this discount will be sent to you after enrollment.
The immersion begins the moment you show up. You’ll meet the artists you’ll be working alongside for the next two and a half days, share what brought you here, and begin the first Frequency work together.
This evening is also where you get your first look at the Three Essential Success Elements, Frequency, Vision, and Reach, the framework every business decision in this immersion builds on. This evening sets the tone for everything that follows.
The day starts us off with a brief guided creative warm-up. From there, you’ll uncover the real reason you make art and turn it into a clear direction that guides your pricing, marketing, and every decision you make about your business.
The afternoon turns to Vision, where you’ll build a concrete picture of where your art and your business are headed and a special session with a guest marketing strategy expert.
For in-person attendees, from there you’ll step into the ICB Building, starting with a visit to Nick’s painting studio and an opportunity to wander three floors of working studios, getting a firsthand look at what a working art career actually looks like.
Wednesday evening closes back on The Rooftop of the Acqua Hotel – fire tables, full views of Mt. Tamalpais, an evening of food, conversation, and an informal panel with artists who’ve built careers around making the work they love. Drinks in hand, the audience asking anything. Conversations with artists living the life.
The final day is where everything becomes practical. Instagram profile optimization, your social posting system, AI as a creative mirror, and how to create content that sounds like you rather than everyone else. Hot seats throughout. You leave with a system, not just inspiration.
“My biggest takeaway is that my art is me, a reflection of my inner being. I love it. I want to bring joy to the world and the Immersion reminded me that I should not hold back. It transformed my sense of confidence. I have big dreams for my art and I should give full voice to that, even shouting it from the mountaintops.”
– Dorette Pollard, Past Immersion Attendee
“Working with Nick has changed my life. Last year my art was juried into a show and it was thrilling. I also had a solo show where I sold 36 pieces of art. Thrilling! This year I will be a guest artist at a gallery in Santa Fe and now I have two galleries representing my work. I’m a late starter and I’m having the time of my life.“
– Lynda B.
“2 years ago I sold 2 paintings. Last year I sold 18. This year I’m looking forward to my first one woman show. NO HESTITATION.”
– Sue G.

Perfect. This immersion assumes you’re an artist first, not a businessperson. I’ll teach you everything you need to know in language that makes sense to creative minds.
Most business programs hand artists a generic framework and send them home. This immersion starts with your art, your voice, and where you want to take it – the business strategy grows from there.
Virtual attendees join every session live via stream, can ask questions throughout, and connect with fellow artists in small group Zoom rooms. The community that forms across 2.5 days is one of the most unexpected gifts people take home from this event. Plus you get 6 months replay access.
For In-Person Attendees:
Absolutely. With a limited number of in-person participants, there will be dedicated hot-seat sessions in which selected artists receive direct feedback. Hot seat sessions aren’t art critiques. They’re live coaching conversations about how you’re thinking about your work – your vision, your voice, how you’re sharing it with the world. Selected participants get direct coaching in front of the room, and watching that process is often where the biggest breakthroughs happen for everyone.
For Virtual Attendees: Virtual participants join every session live via stream. Virtual attendees may also be selected for a live hot seat – and the coaching you witness across all sessions is some of the most valuable learning in the room. Watching that process and applying it to your own work is a surprisingly powerful way to grow.
These business principles work for all visual artists – painters, sculptors, photographers, mixed media artists, digital artists, and more. The principles work because they start with your art, not a generic formula.
This year we’re going deeper than ever with the Bloom Principles of Frequency, Vision, and Reach, a complete framework that ties everything together. We’ve added brand new content on using AI as a creative mirror for your own work, plus a fresh take on pricing with an AI-powered board of advisors and a money and energy belief-buster session.
This year we’re hosting at the beautiful Acqua Hotel in Mill Valley, with one special afternoon in Nicholas’ studio at the ICB in Sausalito. Cherie Healey is back teaching her “Rise, Design, Shine” framework, and we’ll close with An Evening with Artists – dinner, drinks, and a live panel at The Rooftop at Acqua.
And if you were with us last year, here’s what I want you to know. Even where the content overlaps, you’re not the same artist you were then. You’re in a different place in your art and your business now, and that means the same words are going to land differently. What felt like a first step last year might click into something much bigger this time. We hope you join us at this year’s Art of Business Immersion!
You’ll receive login details starting September 14th so you can start connecting with fellow participants ahead of the event.
Where your art supports you. Where your voice is heard. Where the business you’ve built is a genuine reflection of the work you make and the person you are.
