“I’ve already changed my Instagram bio and rewrote my artist statement. My art is shifting and I sold a piece this week to an ideal client! I feel excited and on fire.”
– Laurie K., Past Immersion Attendee
You’ve felt it… those moments in the studio when everything clicks, when the work comes through you rather than from you, when you lose track of time entirely.
But then you sit down to post about it on social media. To price it. To talk about it with a collector or a gallery. And something shifts. The aliveness drains out. You start performing instead of expressing. The work that felt so true in the studio suddenly feels impossible to talk about without shrinking it.
That’s not a marketing problem. That’s a frequency problem.
It starts where the real problem lives… Because when your creative frequency is fully alive, everything downstream changes. You post from a place of genuine expression rather than performance. You price from a place of knowing what your work is worth rather than hoping someone agrees. You reach people not by chasing algorithms but by becoming so distinctly yourself that the right people can’t look away.
The Art of Business Immersion is where that starts…
This isn’t a conference. There are no panels, no generic keynotes, no advice designed for someone else’s art career.
It’s an immersion, which means you’re in it, not just watching from the sidelines. Hot seats, live painting, real feedback, and conversations that continue long after each session ends, wherever you’re joining us from.
By Friday afternoon you won’t just have a plan. You’ll have felt what it’s like to operate from a fully alive creative frequency. And once you’ve felt that, you can’t unfeel it.
“Before working with Nicholas, I had about $3-4k in painting sales a year. That was without a gallery rep. In 2024 I had $15,228. That’s my 50% commission, making total retail $30,456!! So total my retail sales went from $3-4k a year to over $30k.” – Lori C.
“Working with Nick has changed my life. Last year my art was juried into a show and it was thrilling. I also had a solo show where I sold 36 pieces of art. Thrilling! This year I will be a guest artist at a gallery in Santa Fe and now I have two galleries representing my work. I’m a late starter and I’m having the time of my life.“ – Lynda B.

Perfect. This immersion assumes you’re an artist first, not a businessperson. I’ll teach you everything you need to know in language that makes sense to creative minds.
Most business programs hand artists a generic framework and send them home. This immersion starts with your art, your voice, and where you want to take it – the business strategy grows from there.
Virtual attendees join every session live via stream, can ask questions throughout, and connect with fellow artists in small group Zoom rooms. The community that forms across 2.5 days is one of the most unexpected gifts people take home from this event. Plus you get 6 months replay access.
For In-Person Attendees:
Absolutely. With a limited number of in-person participants, there will be dedicated hot-seat sessions in which selected artists receive direct feedback. Hot seat sessions aren’t art critiques. They’re live coaching conversations about how you’re thinking about your work – your vision, your voice, how you’re sharing it with the world. Selected participants get direct coaching in front of the room, and watching that process is often where the biggest breakthroughs happen for everyone.
For Virtual Attendees: Virtual participants join every session live via stream. Virtual attendees may also be selected for a live hot seat – and the coaching you witness across all sessions is some of the most valuable learning in the room. Watching that process and applying it to your own work is a surprisingly powerful way to grow.
These business principles work for all visual artists – painters, sculptors, photographers, mixed media artists, digital artists, and more. The principles work because they start with your art, not a generic formula.
This year we’re going deeper than ever with the Bloom Principles of Frequency, Vision, and Reach, a complete framework that ties everything together. We’ve added brand new content on using AI as a creative mirror for your own work, plus a fresh take on pricing with an AI-powered board of advisors and a money and energy belief-buster session.
This year we’re hosting at the beautiful Acqua Hotel in Mill Valley, with one special afternoon in Nicholas’ studio at the ICB in Sausalito. Cherie Healey is back teaching her “Rise, Design, Shine” framework, and we’ll close with An Evening with Artists – dinner, drinks, and a live panel at The Rooftop at Acqua.
And if you were with us last year, here’s what I want you to know. Even where the content overlaps, you’re not the same artist you were then. You’re in a different place in your art and your business now, and that means the same words are going to land differently. What felt like a first step last year might click into something much bigger this time. We hope you join us at this year’s Art of Business Immersion!
You’ll receive login details starting September 14th so you can start connecting with fellow participants ahead of the event.
Where your art supports you. Where your voice is heard. Where the business you’ve built is a genuine reflection of the work you make and the person you are.
